Job summary

Flagship Facility Services, Inc. is seeking a versatile team member for lab support and client-focused service in Cambridge, MA. Training provided; prior lab or service experience is a plus. You'll handle stocking, cleaning, safety protocols, and basic equipment maintenance while collaborating across teams.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and travel between sites. Core hours are 7 AM–6 PM, with possible evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior service industry or lab experience a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and continuously bend, reach and twist.
• Stand/walk during entire length of shift.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows, Office365).
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Personal transportation required as work may involve transit between multiple sites.
• Core business hours 7AM to 6PM, with evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure labware, consumables, supplies and areas are stocked, cleaned, and maintained.
• Perform hazardous waste consolidation and assist with lab equipment maintenance.
• Assist with ordering and stock integrity through inventory/procurement systems.
• Interact with research staff and support in-scope service requests.
• Balance routine tasks with ad-hoc work and document processes.
• Adhere to COVID-19 safety guidelines and company policies.
