Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School in Oklahoma City is seeking a part-time Water Safety Instructor to teach children how to swim using our curriculum in a safe, supportive environment. You’ll lead engaging lessons, maintain pool safety, and build strong relationships with families while delivering clear progress updates.

Qualifications

• Ability to work at least two shifts per week.
• Comfortable in the water and able to swim.
• Positive, energetic, and patient attitude.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Teach Life-Saving Skills using Aqua-Tots curriculum for all ages.
• Maintain pool safety and follow safety procedures.
• Build relationships with families and provide progress updates.
• Educate and explain curriculum, progression, and next steps to parents.
• Maintain pool readiness: chemicals, cleanliness, and organization.
• Assist with cleaning tasks around pool deck, windows, and showers.
• Complete Aqua-Cards accurately at end of each shift.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings with the team.
