Job summary

Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking a Water Safety Instructor to join our indoor pool team in Texas. You will teach lifesaving skills to children, maintain a safe learning environment, and build strong relationships with families.

The role offers flexibility and growth opportunities within our mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will be comfortable in water, possess strong communication skills, and enjoy working with kids.

Qualifications

• Comfortable working in a pool environment with children
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to build positive relationships with families

Responsibilities

• Teach lifesaving swim lessons using Aqua-Tots curriculum for all ages
• Maintain safety and follow pool procedures at all times
• Provide progress updates to families and communicate next steps
• Explain curriculum and progression clearly to parents
• Keep pool area clean, organized, and safe and assist with general readiness
• Support swim school operations including deck, showers, and common areas
• Assist with other duties as needed
