Job summary
Air Methods in the Northeast Region is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician with rotorcraft experience to maintain our air medical fleet and ensure FAA-compliant records. You will perform inspections, repairs, and alterations and work closely with pilots and operations to keep aircraft mission-ready.
The ideal candidate holds an FAA A&P license, RAMCO experience is a plus, and is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with on-call rotations, overtime, and travel as needed.
Qualifications
- ROTORCRAFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- TWO to FIVE years’ related work experience
- FAA A&P License in good standing- REQUIRED
- Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
- Valid Drivers License REQUIRED
- RAMCO experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft/components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters and applicable FAA regulations
- Advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that would take aircraft out of service
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
- Actively participate in the SMS level 4 continuous improvement program
- Other Duties as assigned
