Job summary

Air Methods is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Technician in the Southeast region to maintain our fleet and ensure FAA compliance. You will perform inspections, repairs, and alterations, while keeping accurate maintenance documentation and supporting ongoing safety initiatives.

Qualified candidates have 2–5 years of rotorcraft experience, an FAA A&P license, and familiarity with RAMCO (ERP) systems. A collaborative, on-call schedule and flexibility are valued in our dynamic, nationwide

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years’ related experience
• FAR 135 operations preferred
• Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
• FAA A&P License in good standing required

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft and components in accordance with FAA regulations
• Verify by inspection that part numbers and serial numbers match documentation
• Ensure maintenance documentation is in compliance with FARs and company policies
• Actively participate in Safety Management System (SMS)
• Maintain a clean and professional work area
• Advise PIC of maintenance issues that would take aircraft out of service
• Validate data in Status Reports for the aircraft
• Request aviation parts to maintain inventory
• Other duties as assigned
