Job summary

DCI Donor Services, Inc. in Nashville is seeking a Hospital Development Coordinator to cultivate relationships with hospitals and healthcare professionals to promote organ/tissue donation.

You will strengthen partnerships between our organization and hospital partners, engaging clinical staff and driving education and outreach. The ideal candidate has a healthcare/marketing background, understanding of the healthcare system, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field.
  • 2 years marketing experience, preferably within the medical or donation industry and/or related experience required.
  • Understanding of the healthcare system and hospital operations.
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid Driver’s license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements strategic plans for hospitals to maximize organ/tissue donation potential.
  • Engages with physicians, nurses, and coroner/medical examiner staff to facilitate organ/tissue donation.
  • Champions process improvement initiatives within hospital settings.
  • Serves as a liaison to hospital staff during the donation process, ensuring effective communication between hospital, donor family, and organization.
  • Develops and presents regular education to hospital staff on donation benefits and processes.
  • Conducts data analysis and marketing initiatives to maximize potential and save lives.
  • Documents all interactions with medical facilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Tennessee Donor Services is seeking a Hospital Development Coordinator to join our team in Nashville. The ideal candidate will have:
