Job summary

Vitalant in Mather, CA is hiring Hospital Delivery Technicians. Schedule: Tuesday – Thursday 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM. Salary: $20.00–$21.00 per hour.

You will transport blood products safely between Vitalant locations and hospital partners, handling temperature-sensitive products as a direct representative of Vitalant. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills preferred.
• Ability to use basic computer or mobile technology for deliveries.
• Ability to work the schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings and/or on-call depending on location.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 40–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, verify and deliver time-sensitive blood product orders.
• Maintain temperature-control and chain-of-custody for blood products.
• Safely load, secure and unload products and equipment.
• Document and track deliveries using established systems.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and internal teams to handle changing priorities.
