Job summary

Vitalant is seeking a Hospital Delivery Technician in Mather, CA. You will transport blood products between Vitalant locations and hospital partners, ensuring accuracy, proper handling, and on-time delivery. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and professionalism in a healthcare setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 40-50 lbs. Shift is 1330–2200, Tue–Thu, with potential weekend/on-call work depending on location.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to document deliveries and use basic computer/mobile tools.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, verify and deliver time-sensitive blood product orders.
• Maintain temperature control and chain of custody during transport.
• Safely load/unload products and supplies following SOPs.
• Document deliveries and coordinate with hospital staff and internal teams.
