Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in life safety systems
- AA/AS degree with 5+ years in life safety
- Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years hands-on experience
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operation, troubleshooting, and execution of life safety systems, including fire alarms and HPM.
- Conduct design reviews for fire alarms and HPM components to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to address system issues and oversee implementation and integration.
- Provide engineering support for design and construction of life safety systems and recommend improvements for code compliance and performance.
- Assist in optimizing life safety systems for occupancy changes and building modifications.
- Maintain and update design standards and specifications for life safety systems.
- Stay current on applicable regulations, codes, and standards to align with best practices.
