Qualifications

• Knowledge of industry standards, local fire/building codes and their application.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience maintaining life safety or fire suppression systems in industrial settings.
• Competent with computer equipment and specialized software when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Submits documented reports regarding fire suppression system inspections.
• Ensures electrical safety during maintenance and testing activities.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fire safety components (risers, extinguishers, sensors, etc.).
• Interface with Fire Alarm Systems, PLCs and SCADA as needed.
• Dismantles and inspects components and replaces damaged parts.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and comply with procedures.
• Other duties as required by business needs.
