Job summary

Insight Global is hiring a Construction Manager in Boise, ID to oversee life safety and security systems on a megaproject. The role requires coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, and ensuring rigorous pre-construction activities.

The position covers equipment buyout, drawing scrubs, and detailed documentation. Expect to lead large startup meetings and maintain RFIs, with a 12-month contract and potential extension. Pay is $75/hr with per diem for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience on mega and/or high-tech projects.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, IFC, IBC, and related life safety standards.
• Experience with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6.
• Experience receiving bids from subcontractors, equipment buyout, and other pre-construction activities.
• Strong communication and coordination with customers, internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulatory partners.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Experience managing contractors responsible for fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee life safety and security systems on a mega/high-tech project.
• Complete pre-construction tasks including equipment buyout and scrubbing drawings.
• Own project scope and ensure documentation alignment across teams and partners.
• Facilitate training and run startup meetings with hundreds of teammates.
• Review project submittal information and manage RFIs.
