Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee EI&C systems for a mega project in Boise, ID. The role covers instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA integration, and related electrical infrastructure, with a 12-month initial contract and very generous per diem.

The candidate will complete pre-construction tasks, own the project scope, align teams, and lead startup meetings with hundreds of teammates, while coordinating submittals and RFIs to maintain schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience on mega and/or high-tech construction projects supporting electrical, instrumentation, and controls systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, instrumentation design, PLCs, SCADA systems, and applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to work with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and others.
• Experience receiving bids from subcontractors, equipment buyout, and other pre-construction activities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate customers, internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulatory partners.
• Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Experience managing instrumentation and controls contractors supporting process-critical manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Complete all pre-construction tasks including equipment buyout and scrubbing drawings to align proper subcontractors and trade partners.
• Take full ownership of the project scope including proper documentation and alignment across all teams and partners.
• Facilitate training and run startup meetings with hundreds of teammates.
• Review project submittal information and manage RFIs.
