Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking safety-focused Inspectors to perform routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines.

You will document deficiencies, follow a strict inspection schedule, carry equipment, and cooperate with foreman to install and service systems while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in sprinkler systems and related life safety products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Willingness to perform physical labor and use diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and maintenance of life safety product lines.
• Document deficiencies accurately and communicate results.
• Assist foreman with installation of various sprinkler systems.
• Carry and move equipment up to 70 lbs and work in challenging positions.
