Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a field inspector to perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and maintenance on life-safety sprinkler product lines. You will document deficiencies, complete inspections with proper coding, and follow a structured schedule while handling tools and minor repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience with sprinkler systems preferred.
• RME-1 license is required or preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams, submittals and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing and maintenance of life safety product lines.
• Install minor components and perform repairs as needed.
• Document deficiencies and complete inspections with proper coding.
• Follow a structured inspection schedule and communicate via devices.
• Carry and move equipment up to 70 lbs and work in restricted spaces.
