FSS Technologies in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Project Manager to lead fire and security system projects from initiation to closeout. You will coordinate across sales, engineering, operations, and field teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with industry codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in fire, security, or construction industries.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, security, and life safety systems preferred.
• PMP or NICET certification a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and ERP platforms (e.g., FieldHub).

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage fire and security system installation projects.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure scope is executed.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status with clients and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, submittals, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, OSHA guidelines, and local building/fire codes.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality work and timely delivery.
• Resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Conduct project closeout meetings and ensure all required documentation is submitted.
