Job summary

MSS Fire and Security, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Fire and Security to lead project planning, budgeting, and coordination with architects, contractors, and vendors. You will oversee schedules, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure safety and quality on site.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree or equivalent experience, plus strong communication and knowledge of fire and security systems. Competitive benefits and a collaborative culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Strong understanding of fire, security, and camera systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word for reporting and documentation.
• Experience scheduling using MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Chart project objectives and plans, set performance requirements and participants.
• Oversee resources and procurement to meet cost-efficient goals.
• Coordinate operations and ensure timely construction progress.
• Develop communications and conflict-resolution mechanisms among participants.
• Oversee construction from start to finish and manage budgets and risks.
