Job summary

FSS Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute fire, security, and life safety projects from start to finish. You will be the primary contact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, driving communication and quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in relevant industries, strong scheduling and budgeting skills, and familiarity with NFPA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in fire, security, or construction industries.
• Knowledge of fire alarm, security, and life safety systems preferred.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, and resource management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, and ERP platforms.
• PMP or NICET certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage fire and security system installation projects.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure scope is executed accurately.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to keep projects on track.
• Communicate project status, issues, and updates with clients and contractors.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, submittals, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, OSHA guidelines, and local building/fire codes.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality work and timely delivery.
• Resolve project-related issues promptly to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Conduct project closeout meetings and ensure all required documentation is submitted.
