Job summary

FSS Technologies is seeking a Project Sales Representative in Minnesota to drive revenue through project-based sales of life safety and security solutions. You will design, propose, and close custom fire alarm, CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection system projects.

You will identify new clients, manage the full sales cycle, present solutions, and collaborate with operations to ensure customer satisfaction. Excellent communication and a strong network are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years sales experience in life safety, fire alarm, or security systems.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and security technologies.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage new commercial clients through networking, referrals, cold calls, and events.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline, handling full cycle from lead to close.
• Assess client needs, design customized solutions, and present proposals.
• Deliver in-person presentations to decision-makers.
• Partner with operations to ensure smooth project handoff and satisfaction.
• Provide timely follow-ups and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Maintain CRM records of activities, opportunities, and outcomes.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, products, and compliance standards.
• Participate in weekly sales training and mentorship sessions.
