Job summary

Everon, with a strong national presence, seeks a Contract/PMA Sales Representative in Edison, NJ to grow recurring service and monitoring sales for life safety systems. You will convert projects to service agreements and conduct surveys of potential customers, building a robust pipeline.

The role emphasizes high activity, excellent prospecting skills, and the ability to articulate test, inspections, and central monitoring offerings to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and/or 3–5 years in high-volume sales in a fast-paced environment.
• Outside sales and cold calling experience.
• Proven track record selling services or intangibles requiring prospecting.
• Excellent customer service, thoroughness and self-motivation.
• Strong work ethic, competitive, action oriented and optimistic about results.
• Good decision making, highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record; background and drug test.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business by providing solutions to existing and new client base.
• Cold-calling and outside sales to generate new business.
• Conduct building surveys to develop proposals for customers.
• Create proposals for service agreements including tests, inspections, PM and central monitoring.
• Deliver sales presentations to customers and management.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of all product lines and services offered.
• Review testing and inspection reports to quantify service repair proposals.
• Collaborate with internal departments to communicate job scopes and customer needs.
• Attract new customers and upsell to existing clients via field, phone, and direct marketing.
• Assist marketing initiatives related to sales activities and business planning.
• Demonstrate understanding of company services in presentations to customers.
