National Life Group in Addison, TX seeks a Senior Director of Life Product Innovation & Design to lead strategy, design capabilities, and the innovation agenda for the Life Product portfolio. You will translate market insights into differentiated product opportunities and work with Distribution and Marketing to prioritize initiatives.

The role requires deep life-insurance knowledge, senior stakeholder influence, and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years of related experience.
• Deep knowledge of the Individual Life insurance marketplace.
• Demonstrated leadership in product strategy, innovation, or product design.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple business functions and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, communicate with, and build relationships across senior stakeholders.
• People leadership experience, including setting priorities, providing direction, and developing talent.
• AI-forward roles expect responsible use of AI, prompts, governance and collaboration with Legal/Compliance.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute the strategic vision and innovation agenda for the Life Product portfolio, aligning opportunities with growth priorities and market dynamics.
• Lead front-end of Life Product Lifecycle, with disciplined processes from concept to development.
• Translate insights into actionable product opportunities and recommendations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the Life Insurance marketplace, including product structures and regulatory considerations.
• Partner with stakeholders to drive product design, positioning, and field testing.
• Develop portfolio-level product innovation roadmaps, calendars, and executive communications.
• Champion a customer- and distributor-centered approach to product innovation and design.
