Kemper is hiring a Life Insurance Sales Agent in Lumberton, North Carolina. This full-time field role involves in-person visits to new and existing customers to collect premiums, promote policies, and deliver service.

For unlicensed agents, training is provided to study for licensing exams; once licensed, you receive an existing book of business and earn commissions on premiums and new sales. The pay-for-performance model offers growth through hard work and dedication.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
