Job summary

Kemper is seeking a Life Insurance Sales Agent in Delhi, Louisiana. This is a full-time field role with licensure training and a pay-for-performance compensation model.

You will begin with a paid training period to prepare for licensing exams, then manage an existing book of business, collecting monthly premiums and earning commissions on new sales. Opportunities to increase income exist with performance and sales growth.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with auto insurance coverage.
• Dependable vehicle for daily travel.
• Ability to pass background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screening.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conducting sales presentations, recommending products, and closing new sales.
• Prospecting for new sales opportunities.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships by collecting premiums on a pre-arranged schedule that you determine.
• Responding promptly to service requests such as beneficiary changes, claims, and loans.
• Record keeping, accounting for money collected, and processing policy paperwork.
• Grow the assigned territory through new sales and build relationships with customers.
