Job summary

Family Security Plan, based in Baltimore, offers an insurance sales role with a guaranteed base salary starting at $55,000 and two raises built into the first 8 months. You’ll work face-to-face with credit union members across the Baltimore area, avoiding cold-calls and building trusted relationships in branches.

You’ll develop a network with credit union staff and employer groups, track sales metrics, and strive to meet daily goals while ensuring ethical, compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record (insurance experience and/or license a plus, not required).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Comfort with internet and email communication.
• Ability to travel to worksite locations around the Baltimore area as needed.
• A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to ethical, compliant sales practices.

Responsibilities

• Meet credit union members in person and through other channels to share the insurance benefits that come with their membership.
• Assess each member’s needs and recommend coverage that fits their family.
• Develop strong relationships with credit union staff, branch managers, worksite personnel, and employer group contacts.
• Generate referrals and new business through existing and new relationships.
• Consistently hit daily PRO-level sales goals and report totals to credit unions when applicable.
