Job summary

The Family Security Plan is hiring a Life and Health Insurance Agent in Baltimore, MD. You will work face-to-face with members at local credit unions, helping them choose life and health insurance options that fit their needs.

A guaranteed base salary starts at $55,000 with two raises within the first 8 months, and a total salary range of $80,000–$100,000 per year is highlighted. You’ll be based in credit union branches around Baltimore, building relationships with staff and members to drive

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record in insurance or licenses is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort with technology, internet and email.
• Reliable ability to travel within the Baltimore area.

Responsibilities

• Meet credit union members in person and through other channels to share insurance benefits.
• Assess members' needs and recommend suitable coverage.
• Develop relationships with credit union staff to generate referrals and new business.
• Hit daily PRO-level sales goals and report premiums and enrollments.
• Submit applications and documentation on your manager's schedule; log off-site activity on time.
