Legacy Oaks of Sacramento Assisted Living and Memory Care in Sacramento, CA is seeking a compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to engage residents through meaningful activities and provide safe transportation to appointments and outings. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, safety-conscious, and dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life.

The role involves planning activities, coordinating calendars, and collaborating with the enrichment team to support overall resident

Qualifications

Must speak, read and write in English.
Basic computer skills for word processing.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Minimum 1 year of driving or transportation experience preferred.
State Criminal Background Check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
LIC 503 Health Screening Report.
Compassionate, patient and service-oriented attitude.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist Life Enrichment Director in planning, coordinating and conducting resident activities.
Provide engaging activity programming to enhance residents' physical, emotional and social well-being.
Tailor activities to meet residents' needs and abilities.
Create monthly activity calendars and newsletters.
Safely transport residents to appointments and community outings.
Assist residents when entering and exiting the vehicle and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
