Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in the United States is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to design and deliver personalized Life Skills programs for residents, including memory-impaired seniors. You will create meaningful routines, lead activities, and tailor experiences to individual abilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff and volunteers, documentation, and ensuring safety and dignity while fostering purpose, connection, and joy for residents.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organise small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
