Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager in California to create meaningful Life Skills experiences for residents living with memory loss. You will develop individualized activities, lead groups, and coordinate with care teams to support dignity and purpose.

The role requires memory-impaired senior experience, strong communication, and adaptability to cognitive abilities, with opportunities to engage residents daily in familiar routines.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
