Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to create purpose-driven Life Skills experiences for residents, including those living with memory loss. You will tailor activities to individual interests, lead enrichment clubs, and document participation to meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience with memory-impaired seniors, a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt activities to varying cognitive abilities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma/GED; age 18
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability
• Experience leading group activities preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
