Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Edison, NJ is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to design and run personalized Life Skills programs for residents with memory loss. You will engage residents in meaningful routines and manage enrichment activities.

The role requires 1+ year memory-impaired senior care experience, a high school diploma, and strong communication skills. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma or GED required, age 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
