Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Life Enrichment Manager to design and lead personalized Life Skills programs for residents, including those with memory loss.

You will work to create purposeful moments, mentor volunteers, and collaborate with care teams to adapt activities to cognitive abilities, with strong emphasis on dignity and meaningful engagement.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities
• Document participation per quality standards
