Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in East Brunswick, NJ, seeks a Life Enrichment Manager to create purposeful activities for memory-impaired residents. This role focuses on meaningful routines that foster dignity and connection within a resident-centered program.

You will develop Life Skills, lead enrichment activities, and collaborate with care staff to tailor programming to residents' interests, ensuring proper documentation and supplies are maintained.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
