Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living, LLC is seeking a part-time Life Enrichment Manager in Northville, MI to create personalized Life Skills experiences for residents, including those with memory loss. The role focuses on meaningful, familiar routines and small-group activities, documenting participation and coordinating with teams to support engagement.

You’ll develop activities tailored to cognitive abilities, lead groups, and help residents participate in meaningful moments every day.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to cognitive ability.
• Experience leading group activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation per quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
