Job summary

Ciel Senior Living in Yonkers, NY is seeking a Part-time Life Enrichment Assistant to develop and coordinate activity programs reflecting residents' interests, and to provide meaningful, life-enriching experiences across physical, social, intellectual, and artistic domains.

You will recruit and train volunteers, lead staff in activities, plan calendars, host events, arrange transportation, and ensure residents' feedback is heard.

Qualifications

• Experience in creating and coordinating activities for older adults.
• Ability to supervise, lead, and motivate people.
• Valid (not CDL) Driver's License required.
• Two years of college or more in recreation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteer members.
• Attend training courses and maintain LMS training.
• Create daily/monthly activity calendar with dates, times, locations.
• Coordinate and host all special events, including holidays.
• Arrange transportation for outings and drive the bus/vehicle.
• Provide a forum for residents to share ideas and feedback.
