Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents, enhancing daily living. You will support the Life Enrichment team by developing calendars, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, and ensuring activities meet resident needs.

You may oversee a specific enrichment component as assigned and coordinate transportation when needed.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Prefer: experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, creative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care or specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from outside events, driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff; adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
