Job summary

Heritage Inn in Statesboro, GA seeks a Life Enrichment Program Director for a full-time day shift to design and lead wellness-oriented activities for residents. The role requires coordinating a diverse calendar of events, engaging volunteers, and collaborating with the IDT to support resident care plans.

The ideal candidate will have an ongoing commitment to high-quality patient-centered activities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and regulatory compliance across the Life Enrichment

Qualifications

• Licensed or certified recreation specialist.
• Two years’ experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
• One year full-time in a Life Enrichment program within a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and direct a Life Enrichment program across the Seven Dimensions of Wellness.
• Promote life enrichment activities during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Organize a volunteer program including screening, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation.
• Participate in IDT meetings and care planning processes as applicable.
• Coordinate activity delivery with other departments and maintain inter-departmental communication.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and departmental budget in line with plan.
