Job summary

Heritage Inn Statesboro is seeking a licensed Life Enrichment professional to lead and oversee the Life Enrichment department. You will develop, implement, and evaluate programs across multiple wellness dimensions, while coordinating volunteers and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support resident care.

The role requires strong safety and compliance awareness, and the ability to engage with the community and committees to advance our mission.

Qualifications

• Qualified licensed or certified recreation specialist.
• Minimum two years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
• One year full-time in a Life Enrichment program within a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct a Life Enrichment program spanning the Seven Dimensions of Wellness.
• Coordinate volunteer program: screening, orientation, training, supervision and evaluation.
• Participate in IDT meetings and resident care conferences.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and maintain inter-department communication.
• Promote community engagement and uphold the system's image through servant leadership.
