Job summary

Camellia Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Life Enrichment professional to develop and direct programs across seven wellness dimensions. You will build and maintain activity calendars, engage residents through varied programs, and grow a volunteer network.

Collaboration with the IDT and other departments is essential to optimize resident well-being. Requirements include a state-approved Life Enrichment certification, two years’ relevant experience, and full-time commitment in a healthcare

Qualifications

Qualified licensed or certified recreation specialist.
Minimum two years’ experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years.
At least one year full-time in a Life Enrichment program within a health care setting.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, facilitate, evaluate, and direct a Life Enrichment program.
Maintain life enrichment calendars reflecting patient needs and special occasions.
Promote ongoing delivery of life enrichment activities including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Develop and maintain a volunteer program with screening, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation.
Participate in IDT meetings and resident care conferences.
Coordinate life enrichment activities with other departments.
