Deer Crest Assisted Living in Red Wing, MN is looking for a Life Enrichment Assistant responsible for assisting the Life Enrichment Director with planning, implementing, and evaluating programs to enhance residents' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and cognitive well-being. The role supports Ebenezer's core programs including Life Long Learning, Dimensions Program for Dementia Care, Crafted Culinary, Spiritual Care, Wellness, and Intergenerational Programming.

This position includes:

• .8 FTE / 64 hours every two weeks, full-time schedule
• Day shift
• Week 1: Mon 8:30am-5pm, Tues, Thur, Fri & Sat 9:30am-4pm
• Week 2: Mon, Tues, Thur & Fri 8:30am-5pm
• Every other weekend (Sat-Sun) rotation and holidays

Located across from Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing, Deer Crest Senior Living offers Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care with a dedicated team committed to providing meaningful, longer, healthier lives for residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading social events and activity programs
• Conducting exercise classes for residents
• Coordinating with departments for program implementation
• Assisting with special events and family functions
• Documenting activities as required
• Providing suggestions to improve programming
• Supporting residents' psychosocial needs
• Planning and executing outings, assisting with transportation
• Encouraging participation, monitoring mood and physical status, promoting independence, and fostering social relationships

Minimum Qualifications:

• Less than 1 year of experience
• Current Driver’s License (if driving company vehicle)
• Insurable under employer’s auto insurance (if applicable)
• For MN drivers: Medical Examiner’s Certificate from the National Registry

Preferred Qualifications:

• GED
• 1 year of experience
