Join us to apply for the Life Enrichment Assistant role at Covenant Living of Colorado.

The purpose of this position is to assist in all departmental and resident activities for SNF, AL, and Residential Living, and to provide assistance to residents on an individual and group basis.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and implementing life enrichment programs.
• Help set up and decorate for special events, including themes like Mother’s Day and Christmas.
• Assist in room setup, materials, furnishings, and post-event cleanup.
• Lead programs such as exercise, educational activities, arts and crafts, and social events.
• Record attendance and operate equipment.
• Maintain bulletin boards, prepare materials, and distribute event calendars.
• Observe residents' conditions regularly, noting mental and physical health, and report findings.
• Chart residents’ progress and participate in Care Planning.
• Transport residents to activities and accompany them on outside trips.
• Assist in emergency evacuations and engage in one-on-one visits with residents.

Education and Work Experience

• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Entry-level experience acceptable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Creativity, teaching ability, and familiarity with crafts and equipment.
• Organizational, customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in an office/community setting with mobility and physical activity.
• Stand or sit for long periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, reach, or twist.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Operate equipment as needed.
• Repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Good near and far visual acuity, peripheral vision.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $14.50 - $17.11. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, PTO, holidays, 403(b) with match, fitness center, and voluntary benefits such as tuition assistance, legal services, pet insurance, and more.
