Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking a Life Enrichment Aide (CNA) to provide engaging, resident-centered activities and support within a full-time schedule. The role involves coordinating recreational programs, documenting progress, and ensuring safe transportation of residents to events and appointments.

Candidates must hold an active MA CNA certification, demonstrate high energy and enthusiasm, and have strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have an active MA CNA certification.
• High energy, positive attitude, and ability to engage residents.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or Long-Term care preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Strong English oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for residents.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Coordinate and supervise group activities, events, and outings.
• Safely transport residents and assist with transfers as needed.

Life Enrichment Aide - CNA | JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home
$19.00 - $21.00/hour, based on experience
Full -Time | 10:00AM – 6:00PM | rotating weekends and holidays 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

• MUST have a current, Active MA CNA Certification
• Position requires upbeat, high energy and the ability to engage residents in activities!
• Minimum 1-year experience working in a Memory Care, Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
• Moderate to advanced computer skills – specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
