Job summary

JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home is seeking a Life Enrichment Aide - CNA to support residents with engaging activities, documentation, and coordinated events. The role requires an active MA CNA certification and energy to engage residents in memory care and long-term care settings.

The position is full-time with 10:00AM - 6:00PM shifts, rotating weekends and holidays. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, sign-on bonus, and daily perks such as meals and parking.

Qualifications

• Must have MA CNA Certification.
• High energy and ability to engage residents.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Memory Care/Assisted Living/LTC preferred.
• MS Office skills including Word, Publisher, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise group activities and events; ensure residents are engaged and escorted safely.
• Safely transport residents to outings and appointments; assist with transfers as needed.

$19.00 - $21.00/hour, based on experience

Full -Time | 10:00AM - 6:00PM | rotating weekends and holidays 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Delivering Solutions That Matter

• Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.

Qualifications For Success

• MUST have a current, Active MA CNA Certification
• Position requires upbeat, high energy and the ability to engage residents in activities!
• Minimum 1-year experience working in a Memory Care, Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
• Moderate to advanced computer skills – specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English - both verbally and written
