Job summary

Harmony Senior Living in Summerville, SC is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing and implementing engaging programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living residents.

You will lead multiple daily activities, survey residents to tailor plans, coordinate with the program team, build relationships with residents and families, and help with records, meetings, and setting up spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging and passionate about working with seniors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing a monthly activities program based on wellness dimensions.
• Lead 6–7 high-quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to complete Resident Life Profiles and tailor interests and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the program team to plan calendars, events, and outings.
• Develop relationships with residents and families to boost participation and satisfaction.
• Document and maintain records; organize and attend resident council meetings.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a volunteer program.
• Promote programs with notices and posters; arrange and return equipment as needed.
