Legend Senior Living in Wichita, KS seeks a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging programs for residents. You will develop calendars, assist with budgeting, and collaborate with outside organizations to deliver meaningful experiences.

This role includes driving residents to events, overseeing activity components, ensuring safety, and maintaining resident satisfaction. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required; evenings/weekends may be

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, and demonstrated creativity preferred.
• Standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
