Job summary

Warm Hearth Village in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a Life Enrichment Associate for Kroontje Healthcare Center. The role supports developing and implementing activities to meet residents’ needs, reporting to the Director of Life Enrichment.

Responsibilities include planning programs, documenting participation, and adhering to facility policies. Weekend availability and teamwork are required; prior life enrichment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a team setting and independently as well.
• At least one year of experience in life enrichment.
• Availability to work some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents, family, visitors, and coworkers with respect and dignity.
• Plan and implement programs and events.
• Attend all in-services classes as assigned and complete assignments.
• Document resident participation and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Observe all facility policies and procedures.
• Accept assigned job duties in a cooperative manner.
