Job summary

Spring Creek Village is hiring a Life Enrichment Assistant to create engaging activities for seniors. You’ll lead programs, involve residents in events, and help maintain calendars and newsletters. The role requires weekend and holiday availability and a friendly, service-oriented attitude.

The position is full-time at Spring Creek Village, an independent and assisted living community with memory care. Prior activity experience with seniors and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of prior activities experience with seniors.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and some Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing activities and events for residents.
• Involve residents in activities on- and off-site and encourage participation.
• Prepare supplies for activities and events.
• Provide courteous assistance to residents, families, and visitors.
• Help create monthly calendars and newsletters; take photos for newsletters/social media.
• Coordinate with external entertainers to enhance resident experiences.
• Be an active member of the community emergency response team.
• Maintain professional appearance per company policies.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
