Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities, manage calendars, and coordinate with staff to meet resident interests.

You will assist with transportation of residents in company vehicles, maintain safety guidelines, and support the Life Enrichment team in delivering enriching programs on site in Wexford, PA. A valid driver's license and willingness to drive are required.

Qualifications

• Required: Current, valid driver's license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Preferred: Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Requires standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Planning and implementing resident activities, calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup
• Ensuring activities meet residents' needs and preferences
• Overseeing a specific life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care)
• Coordinating transportation of residents to/from outside events, driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities
