Legend Senior Living® in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities. You will help develop calendars, coordinate with outside organizations, and ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.

You may oversee specific life enrichment components and transport residents to events using company vehicles. A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive are required.

Qualifikationen

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning or demonstrated creative skills preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordination with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents.
• Provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff; adhere to policies and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities--

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed.
