Job summary

Legend Senior Living seeks a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents in Pennsylvania. You will contribute to an elegant, resident-centered environment and support Holistic Wellness through meaningful programs.

You will assist with calendar development and budgeting, coordinate with outside organizations, and help transport residents to events as needed. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: Experience with seniors and event planning.
• Demonstrated creativity in activities; ability to adapt to resident needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development and budgeting.
• Coordinate with outside organizations and arrange setup/cleanup for events.
• Ensure activities meet residents' preferences and needs.
• Transport residents to events in company vehicles as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff; follow safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities--Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

Requirements--Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed.
