Legend Senior Living is looking for a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant who will brighten residents’ days by planning and executing engaging activities. You will help create calendars, manage budgets, and coordinate with outside organizations to deliver enriching experiences.

You may oversee a specific life enrichment component and help transport residents to events using company vehicles. A valid driver’s license, age 25+, and a clean driving record are required; lifting up to 50 lbs may

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities--

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles
• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed.
