Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Oklahoma City invites applications for a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will create engaging activities, coordinate calendars and budgets, and support residents’ enjoyment and well-being on a daily basis.

You will oversee activity components as needed, transport residents, and collaborate with staff to tailor programs to resident needs. A valid driver’s license and willingness to drive are required, with lifting and mobility tasks as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning or demonstrated creative skills may be preferred.
• Standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting and coordinating with outside organizations.
• Help ensure activities meet residents’ needs and preferences.
• Provide oversight of a life enrichment component as assigned (e.g., Memory Care or specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to/from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
